Good Beginner's Book But Not So Musical

Although these studies are targetted for the beginners, some pieces aren't very musical, which may make the process of practising less enjoyable. However, the variety of basic fingerings and position-shifts does make it a good starting book for beginners.

Even my very young level students are very much involved in these studies. They strengthen the bowing and the note-reading very fast. This is a method that I have used for years.
